Savage Garden was one of my FAVORITE bands in middle school - definitely wrote the lyrics on my notebook cover. This is a fun update to a nostalgic song, a bouncy and dancey homage that's faithful to the vibe of the original without being a carbon copy. Love it!

Chicago retro-synth dreamboats Wingtips have done this fitting tribute to criminally underrated 90's Aussie pop band Savage Garden. I love the interlocking vocal duet here. The frosting sweet swirl of keyboards and chimes on this song make my heart dance with delight.

We wanted to pay tribute to an iconic 90s pop duo who are greatly influential on us. With "Tears of Pearls" being potentially one of their lesser known songs, we wanted to revamp it with our own style that was grown out of Savage Garden.
